430 gold in 30 minutes

The Forge of Souls (it's the left most instance). Incase you're like me and find this place possible to find I've include an image to give you an idea where to head.

Method

Blitz through the instance as fast as you can. I personally play a mage, so I take advantage of the Blazing Speed talent and blink and keep these constantly on cooldown. It only took me roughly 5 minutes to complete. Once you've gone round once, step through the portal to progress to the Pit of Saron and then leave the instance. This saves you running back to the start of FOS.

Results

* These result are from 1 dungeon run and based on auction house prices on EU Sylvanas Alliance. I've also included green drops in the vendor trash as I don't have enchanting. If you can disenchant the greens that drop you may make slightly more / less depending on your realm.

1 Dungeon run

• Raw gold drop: 6 gold
• Vendor trash: 70 gold 95 silver
• Other drops: 13 Frostweave Cloth

5 Dungeon runs

• Raw gold drop: 30 gold
• Vendor trash: 354 gold 75 silver
• Other drops: 65 Frostweave Cloth

Calculations

• 30 + 354.75 = 384.75 gold
• 3 x 20 stacks of Frostweave cloth @ 14.8 gold per stack = 42 gold 18 silver
• 5 x 1 stacks of Frostweave cloth @ 75 silver per stack = 3 gold 75 silver

Result: 430 gold 68 silver

I've played WoW for some time now and I thought it could be rather fun to write about some of my encounters, news I find interesting and gold making strategies.
